Perry County Ice Storm Relief Grant

_Note: Applications will be considered as they are submitted and granted as funds are available. Grant proposals are accepted on a rolling basis and reviewed weekly on Tuesdays; however, the application will close upon the expenditure of the grant funds for the fiscal year no later than 5/1/2025._

Perry County Community Foundation

On January 5th, 2025, Perry County was hit with a major ice storm. The massive devastation to the community has prompted the Perry County Community Foundation to open this emergency grant round to provide relief towards the extensive cleanup costs anticipated.

The Perry County Community Foundation works to improve the quality of life for individuals in Perry County through thoughtful grantmaking and community leadership. The Perry County Community Foundation is governed by a Board of Directors, chosen for their knowledge of the area. Grant decisions are made by the grant committee.

Funding

Applicants may apply for a minimum of $1,000 and up to $5,000 in funding for this emergency relief grant.

Eligibility

* 501(c)3 organizations or other IRS-approved entities (government entities, school districts, and churches) serving Perry County are eligible to apply.
* Agencies may reapply for additional grants as needed.

Ineligibility

* In awarding grants, affiliates of the CFO will not discriminate on the basis of race, color, sex, religion, national origin, age, ability, sexual orientation, gender identity, or veteran status. 
* Grantees must not, in the use of CFO grant funds, discriminate on the basis of race, color, sex, religion, national origin, age, ability, sexual orientation, gender identity, or veteran status either in their employment practices or in their policies and procedures concerning access to services.
