Overview

For more than twenty years, the Perennial Plant Foundation has been proud to support students through an experiential scholarship for attendance at the Perennial Plant Association's National Symposium. We accept applications from students interested in attending the PPA National Symposium each year. The PPA Symposium is the largest North American conference devoted solely to perennial professionals. Scholarship recipients will receive: Full access to the Symposium, including education sessions (covering the latest in design, new plants, production, and marketing), tours (public and private gardens, perennial nurseries, and garden centers), and a trade showFull accommodations$1,000 stipend to cover travel/transportation and other incidentalsAn amazing experience at the Symposium with networking with over 400+ perennial industry experts!

Eligibility

Undergraduate students from a two-year, four-year, or graduate certificate (Canada) program with a major or minor in horticulture or a related field such as environmental science, landscape architecture, or agribusiness Graduate students working on an M.S., M.L.A., or Ph.D. in the above fieldsRecent graduates: Eligibility is extended for two semesters beyond graduation (e.g., December graduates would be eligible to apply to and attend a July/August Symposium)Must have a minimum in-major 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scalePrior Perennial Plant Foundation scholarship recipients are ineligible at this time
