Purpose: Provide resources to support the development of quality, consistency and relevancy in a values-based series of educational programs that engage Kendal as a larger "learning organization."

With the rapid growth in the aging services field anticipated as the Boomer Generation ages, Kendal faces sharply increased competition for staff in all areas.

Geographic Scope: Kendal System internal

• Frontline staff development
• Management training programs
• Leadership positions education
• Internship, mentorship and fellowship programs
• Curriculum development
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) training
• Apprenticeship programs (e.g., electrician apprenticeships)
• Tuition reimbursement for college and graduate school
• Career progression support (e.g., nursing assistant to RN to BSN pathways)
