Pennywise Grants

Pennywise supports organizations and projects that are making critical differences by matching creative giving with creative problem solving, generating tangible, positive change through sustainable, grassroots initiatives.

Eligibility Requirements

Applicants must meet ALL of the following criteria:

• US 501(c)(3) status or equivalent status in the country in which it operates
• Operational budget less than $2,000,000 USD
• Reducing waste (physical or economic) is a primary goal of the program(s)
• Sustainably generate income (for the organization and/or its beneficiaries)

• Climate justice and environmental sustainability
• Ecological sanitation and waste reduction
• Renewable energy and clean technology
• Reproductive justice and healthcare access
• Refugee and humanitarian support
• Community-led initiatives
