Geographic Scope: New Jersey, Ohio, and Pennsylvania

Focus Areas: Emergency business assistance for independent optometric practices impacted by COVID-19

Eligibility:

• Independent optometry practices located in New Jersey, Ohio, or Pennsylvania
• VBA network providers with payments from VBA totaling $5,000 or more in 2019

Award Details:

• Loan Amounts: $7,500, $10,000, $15,000, or $25,000
• Interest Rate: Interest-free
• Repayment Terms: 24-month repayment period beginning January 2021
• Total Program Funding: At least $1 million available

Program Purpose:

• Designed to assist optometry businesses facing unprecedented challenges due to COVID-19 outbreak
• Supports continuation of business operations during governmental restrictions against elective procedures
• Recognizes the importance of supporting local businesses and independent optometrists serving communities
