Overview: The Orphaned Starfish Foundation's primary scholarship program, renamed in 2026 to honor Peggy Drummond, who was a passionate advocate for youth education and potential.

Background: OSF awarded its first scholarship over a decade ago to Marisol, a young girl in Chile who dreamed of attending university. Marisol excelled, graduated with honors, and now holds a leadership position in fraud prevention at one of Chile's largest banks. Inspired by her success, OSF expanded the scholarship program globally.

Status: Active and expanding. OSF has sponsored over 100 students across the globe to date.

Students from OSF Technology Centers worldwide

Orphans, trafficking survivors, abuse survivors, indigenous children, at-risk youth, and refugees

Deserving students demonstrating academic potential and commitment

Eligibility: Students enrolled in or attending OSF partner programs and Technology Centers

Program Goals:

Support personal transformation and resilience

Gateway to dignity, confidence, and possibility

Enable students to pursue higher education and technical training

Break cycles of abuse and poverty

Impact: Over 90% of OSF students achieve positive outcomes through programs including scholarships
