Paul Revere Awards for Graphic Excellence

Established: 1964 (in honor of the 200th anniversary of the first music engraving in America by silversmith Paul Revere)

Purpose: Recognize outstanding examples of graphic design in print music, with emphasis on usability for orchestras, educators, libraries, and individuals. Awards alert the music industry to the advantages of providing the best possible publication from the viewpoint of engraving, graphic arts, and production standards.

Eligibility

• Applicants: All member companies of the Music Publishers Association
• Publication Eligibility: Any publication originating in the USA and produced for general distribution and sales through regular channels
• Publication Period: Work must have been published between April 1 of the previous year and March 31 of the current year
• Previous Submission: Publications cannot have been previously submitted to the awards program
