Program Overview
The District of Columbia Hospital Association (DCHA) presents annual Patient Safety & Quality Awards recognizing exceptional individuals and teams working in DC hospitals who demonstrate commitment to delivering better outcomes, driving improvement, strengthening care, and engaging stakeholders.

Award Categories

  • Individual awards: Clinical and non-clinical professionals

  • Team awards: Poster competition with Gold, Silver, and Bronze categories
  • Award Amounts

  • Individual winners: $2,500

  • Gold team winner: $5,000

  • Silver team winners: $2,500 each

  • Bronze team winners: Award recognition (amount varies by year)
