Patient Assistance Fund

IBCAT provides limited financial assistance to Hoosiers struggling with financial hardships while undergoing active treatment for breast cancer. Assistance is provided in the form of egiftcards for grocery and/or gas purchases.

Eligibility Requirements

To qualify for this assistance program, applicants must meet ALL of the following:

• Residency: Be a resident of Indiana
• Income: Household income at or below 350% of the Federal Poverty Level
• Health Status: Living with breast cancer
• Treatment Status: Currently in active treatment for breast cancer

Eligible Active Treatment Types

• Chemotherapy
• Immunotherapy
• Radiation therapy
• Breast reconstruction surgery recovery

Non-Eligible Treatments

• Anti-estrogen treatment
• Aromatase inhibitor treatment

Award Details

• Award Amount: Up to $150 total (in egiftcard form)
• Use: For grocery and/or gas purchases only
• Distribution: Egiftcard format
