PAB Broadcast Innovation Grant Program

Overview: This grant program fosters continuing education and training for station managers and staff through professional development stipends.

Geographic Scope: Pennsylvania PAB member stations

Eligibility:

  • Station managers applying on behalf of employees

  • All member station staff levels

    • Funding Details:

  • Award Amount: $250 expense stipend per participant

  • Payable To: Station or participant directly

  • Use: Any board-approved advancement program offered regionally or nationally

    • Approved Programs Include:

  • NAB

  • RAB

  • TVB

  • NATPE

  • Conclave

  • CRS

  • Poynter Institute

  • Other programs with special approval from PAB

    • Requirements:

  • PAB requests social media endorsement post during participation

  • Permission to potentially use content on PAB website, Facebook, or Twitter

    Application Process

    1. Station manager applies on behalf of the employee

    4. Submit application to PAB

    6. Participant provides social media endorsement post during program participation
