Program Description:
This scholarship program provides hands-on scientific training to veterinary students interested in wildlife conservation research. Scholars receive mentoring by OSU and CREW scientists, training in identifying critical conservation issues, designing hypothesis-based scientific studies, and using state-of-the-art technologies for data collection and analysis. Research findings are expected to broaden understanding of wildlife biology and assist zoos in improving animal care and management.
