Overview

Osage Nation Foundation Charitable Grants

Purpose: Fund projects and activities that directly benefit Osage citizens and the Osage Nation.

Geographic Scope: Osage Nation

Award Amount: Up to $3,500 maximum per grant

Matching Funds: No matching funds required from recipient

    Eligibility

  • Eligible Applicants: Individuals and non-profit/charitable organizations
  • Ineligible Applicants: For-profit businesses are not eligible
  • Preference: Osage individuals and organizations have preference in the selection process
  • Frequency: An applicant may be awarded only one grant from the Osage Nation Foundation per fiscal year
  • Funding Availability: All grants are subject to availability of funding at the time of application

    Focus Areas

    Projects should align with the Osage Nation Foundation mission: to promote and enhance the general welfare of the people of the Osage Nation by supporting:
  • Cultural activities and programs
  • Educational activities and programs
  • Health activities and programs
  • Historical activities and programs
  • Community activities and programs
  • Other appropriate activities and programs

    What They Don't Fund

  • College tuition (direct tuition payments)
  • For-profit business activities

    Application Timeline

  • Requests are reviewed as applications are received
  • Recommended: Submit applications a minimum of 90 days before funds are needed
  • Applications are considered at Osage Nation Foundation board meetings
  • Board generally meets bi-monthly
