Overview: Scholarships available to Alta Housing residents with financial support to invest in their future through higher education.

Must be 22 years of age or older

Must have lived in Alta Housing community for at least one year

Background: The Opportunity Fund was created in honor of PAH Board Member Jean Dawes, who has been an advocate for affordable housing and the pursuit of higher education for over 40 years. After serving on the PAH Board for over 30 years, Jean stepped down in May 2019 to chair the Alta Housing Advisory Council.

Purpose: It is the hope that Alta Housing residents will use these funds to achieve career advancement and with that the ability to pursue other housing choices.

2. Provide recommendations:
- At least one recommendation required
- May provide an additional recommendation (optional)
