Who We Are
The Oregon Jewish Community Youth Foundation (OJCYF), a program of the Oregon Jewish Community Foundation (OJCF), empowers Jewish high school students to live their values through philanthropy and leadership. Its mission is to empower Jewish youth to take action that aligns with their Jewish values and to establish a culture of giving as future community leaders. OJCYF encourages discussion and application of Jewish values by providing teens the responsibility to fundraise and grant money to Jewish and secular nonprofit organizations. OJCYF fosters a commitment to tzedakah (charitable giving) and prepares the next generation of leaders to strengthen their communities.

The Oregon Jewish Community Youth Foundation's (OJCYF) mission is to empower Jewish youth to take action that aligns with their Jewish values and establish a culture of giving as future community leaders. OJCYF encourages discussion and application of Jewish values by providing teens the responsibility to fundraise and grant money to Jewish and secular nonprofit organizations
During the 2025 grant cycle the youth board will allocate funds to eligible programs and initiatives that focus on addressing the rise in Antisemitism in Oregon and Southwest Washington, and fostering understanding, resilience, and support for Israel through:
* Education and Awareness
* Community Engagement
* Compassionate Aid for those impacted by hate and conflict.
