Norfolk Area Community Foundation Fund Grant

The Norfolk Area Community Foundation Fund Grant supports innovative projects that enhance the Norfolk area. With no application deadlines, this grant encourages 501(c)(3) organizations and community partnerships to address emerging issues creatively. The fund aims to improve the quality of life for many, foster teamwork, and inspire a culture of giving back. By operating with integrity and respect, the foundation ensures impactful support for community development and growth.

NOTE: Grant applications will be reviewed and considered as received. There are no deadlines for submission and we generally respond within one month of receiving your application. Our yearly grant cycle begins July 1st and is open year-round.
We believe in being fair, reliable and trustworthy with donors, recipients and the community.
We encourage grant requests for projects or programs that are consistent with our mission and values:

• Will have a broad impact on the quality of life for a significant number of people.
• Involve partnerships and are funded by multiple stakeholders.
• Propose ways to address emerging community issues and needs.
• Are creative in the approach to solving problems or capturing opportunities.

Eligibility

The Norfolk Area Community Foundation Fund restricts its support to 501(c)(3) organizations, government, entities or other types of organizations using the funds for a charitable purpose.
