As one of Indiana’s largest community foundations, Legacy Foundation works for Lake County in multiple ways, playing multiple roles. For donors, the Foundation offers an effective way to manage giving by providing expert philanthropic advice rooted in a deep knowledge of our community and an array of philanthropic vehicles and services. For the community, the Foundation serves as a grant-maker, a civic leader, and awards grants to the region’s non-profits to help meet community needs, fulfill donors’ philanthropic wishes, and strengthen the nonprofit sector. Nonprofit Teambuilding Grant Purpose To support an activity that promotes the well-being and renewal of nonprofit staff and core volunteers. Volunteers selected to participate in the proposed activity must be identified as playing a core role in the day-to-day operations of your organization and regularly volunteer at least one time per week. Organizations may receive one teambuilding grant during the 2025 calendar year Grant Details Grants will be awarded on a rolling basis. Please submit your application a minimum of six weeks prior to the date you wish to complete your activity. Funding cannot be used to reimburse an activity previously paid for by the organization. Submission of an application does not guarantee an award.Eligibility
