NOC CARES Emergency Relief Fund

Status: Established May 2020 (COVID-19 pandemic response)

Geographic Scope: Northern Oklahoma College campuses (Tonkawa, Enid, Stillwater)

Focus Areas: Emergency financial assistance for students experiencing temporary hardship related to unexpected situations with limited emergency financial assistance

    Eligibility Requirements:

  • Currently enrolled NOC student

  • Must have completed Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)

  • U.S. citizenship or eligible noncitizen status

  • Valid Social Security number

  • Registration with Selective Service (if male)

  • High school diploma, GED, or completion of high school in approved homeschool setting

    • Ineligible Categories:

  • Students enrolled entirely in online/internet classes as of census date (March 13, 2020)

  • DACA students

  • International students

  • Community Service/non-degree seeking students

  • NOC employees

  • Concurrent students

  • NOC/OSU Gateway Program students (billed by OSU)

    • Award Method: Automatic disbursement (most Spring 2020 students) based on per credit hour calculation as of census date (March 13, 2020)
