Overview

NOTE: The virtual bidder’s conference is mandatory. See Letter of Inquiry Deadline above. Purpose This initiative aims to provide positive development activities for school-age youth who are at risk of involvement with, or are currently involved in, the youth justice system. When schools are not in session, young people benefit from structured, supportive opportunities that promote growth, learning, and prosocial engagement. This grant funding is intended to support community-based program providers in enhancing or expanding their existing services during the summer months. Applicants must currently provide services to young people and must propose a clear plan to expand their existing programming by increasing the level of services, extending the hours or duration, increasing the number of youth served, and/or adding an additional component that supplements, rather than replace, their existing programming. Funding Up to $363,418 (Up to $121,139 per region). Award amounts will be determined based on the number of successful applicants and will be at least $5,000, and no more than $30,000 per applicant, per region.
