Overview: Annual scholarship program supporting the next generation of young business leaders in Nebraska. Scholarships are awarded each year to deserving college students pursuing business-related degrees.

College sophomores and juniors

Attending accredited Nebraska colleges or universities

Pursuing degrees in business-related fields

Award Details:

Amount: $2,000 per scholarship

Multiple scholarships awarded annually (6 scholarships awarded in 2026)

Named scholarships include: Bob Harris Scholarship, Jack Swartz Scholarship, Robert & Cynthia Milligan Scholarship, Kenneth L. Wortman Scholarship, Virgil Eihusen Scholarship, Moe Beardmore Scholarship

Eligibility Requirements:

College sophomore or junior status

Business-related field of study

Demonstrated leadership in extracurricular activities

Maintain at least a 3.0 grade point average

Background: The Nebraska Business Hall of Fame Scholarship Foundation was established in 1997 to recognize and support Nebraska's next generation of business leaders while honoring the achievements of Nebraska's established entrepreneurs and business owners. Since 1997, the Foundation has awarded $214,000 in scholarships to 107 students in business-related fields.
