NCBA Foundation Scholarships

Overview: Supporting bright futures in North Carolina's banking community since 1984, the NCBA Foundation Scholarship Program has awarded nearly $1.5 million in college scholarship funds to more than 120 high school seniors.

Geographic Scope: North Carolina only

Eligibility:

Children of financial institution employees

Parent must be employed by an NCBA member bank in North Carolina

High school seniors pursuing higher education

Only available to institutions that have bought-in to the Scholarship Program

Award Details:

Annual stipends provided to eligible applicants

- HomeTrust Bank Scholarship
- Edwin C. Guy Scholarship
- Whiting/Twiford Scholarship
- William White, Jr./RMIC/Old Republic Mortgage Insurance Corporation Scholarship
- Bill and Dottie Burns Scholarship
- Larry Barbour Scholarship
- Donna Goodrich Scholarship
- John B. Harris, Jr. Scholarship
- Harold Keen Scholarship
- Kel Landis Scholarship
- Kim Price Scholarship

Program Status: The deadline for 2026 scholarships has passed. Applications for 2027 will be available February 16 – March 27, 2027
