Purpose: Honor the memory of Nathaniel "Nate" A. Boyer (1917-2017), an exceptional Lexington High School student. Award deserving Lexington High School students who embody Nate's values and character.

Selection Criteria: Recipients should share Nate Boyer's character traits and values:

Curiosity and intellectual exploration

Humor and kindness

Strong sense of self and personal identity

Involvement in soccer or other athletic pursuits

Involvement in the arts (music, poetry, visual arts)

Benevolence and generosity to others

Spiritual and philosophical nature

About Nate Boyer: Nathaniel "Nate" A. Boyer was a talented artist, poet, and musician with particular skill in guitar. He was an athlete since age 5, progressing through recreational and club soccer to Lexington High School soccer. He was described as brilliant, humble, kind, spiritually and philosophically curious, and deeply connected to others through his music and personal warmth.
