Nancy Buck Ransom Foundation Grants

The Nancy Buck Ransom Foundation Grants aim to empower young people by providing substantial annual funding to Crivitz Youth, Inc. and supporting organizations focused on education, health, and enrichment for children and youth in Monterey County. Eligible applicants include 501(c)3 nonprofits and public agencies serving local youth, with an emphasis on completing previous grants before reapplying. The foundation does not fund K-12 schools, one-time events, or individuals.

We do this by making substantial annual grants to Crivitz Youth, Inc. in Wisconsin, which was the original purpose of our founder; and by supporting organizations whose mission is to provide ongoing education, enrichment and/or health benefits to children and youth located in Monterey County.

Eligibility

We accept one application per calendar year from:Crivitz Youth, Inc.501(c)3 nonprofit organizations or public agencies serving Monterey County children, youth and/or familiesOrganizations must have completed any previous NBRF grants, and all final evaluations must be turned in prior to submitting a new applicationOrganizations who serve as a fiscal sponsor to non-501(c)3 organizations or informal groups may submit more than more application per calendar year. A memorandum of understanding between the Fiscal Sponsor and the organization is required.

Ineligibility
