Nalanda Institute Fellows Program

  • Eligibility:

  • Must be a graduate of one or more of Nalanda Institute's training programs:

  • - Contemplative Psychotherapy Program
    - CBRT Teacher Training
    - Meditation Teacher Training
    - Yoga, Mind & Spirit Training
  • Must feel called to pursue their path with Nalanda Institute

  • Must have a community initiative, research study, or new program in mind
  • Project Examples:

  • Offering CBRT to underserved communities

  • Developing new applications of Contemplative Psychotherapy for underserved populations

  • Designing or implementing contemplative science research projects at universities or hospitals
  • What They Fund:

  • Initial stipend with potential for enhancement upon completion of project-specific aims and objectives

  • Projects that advance understanding of or access to contemplative learning in the Nalanda Tradition
  • What They Don't Fund: Not explicitly stated

    Awards Structure:

  • Initial stipend may be enhanced by further awards upon completion of project-specific goals

  • Predicated on applicant providing clear measures of outcome or impact

  • Mentor supervises, consults, and advocates for Fellow and their project

  • Involves colleagues when necessary or helpful
