Applicant’s fiscal representative should also attend. 2) Letter of Intent Due Date is indicated above as the due date for Letter of Inquiry. Department of Behavioral Health The Department of Behavioral Health provides prevention, intervention and treatment services and supports for children, youth and adults with mental and/or substance use disorders including emergency psychiatric care and community-based outpatient and residential services. DBH serves eligible adults, children and youth and their families through a network of community based providers and unique government delivered services. It operates Saint Elizabeths Hospital—the District’s inpatient psychiatric facility. My Rides Transportation Program The Government of the District of Columbia is soliciting applications from an eligible DFHV licensed and approved Digital Taxi Solutions (“DTS”) provider or a business partnership of a DTS and Taxicab Company Operating Authority providers as a single entity, or approved Transportation Network Company (“TNC”) partnering with DTS or acting a single entity (hereinafter “Awardee” or “Applicant”) to provide transportation services supporting the Department of Behavioral Health’s My Rides Transportation program. The purpose of the MyRides program is to remove transportation as a barrier for District residents seeking to access treatment and/or recovery support services (RSS) for opioid use disorder (OUD) and/or stimulant use disorder (STUD). Individuals with OUD and/or STUD may be ready for treatment but do not have the time, resources, or energy to travel via public transportation. This program will allow individuals to request transportation to treatment and/or RSS as soon as they are ready, wherever they are in the District.Eligibility
