MVP Volunteer Award

Organization: Association of California Symphony Orchestras (ACSO)

Purpose: Since 1996, the Most Valuable Player (MVP) Volunteer Awards recognize exemplary volunteers, volunteer projects, and volunteer organizations working for symphony orchestras in the ACSO network.

Award Focus:

Recognition of exceptional volunteer contributions

Volunteers in various capacities including:

- Board members
- Education providers
- Marketing and outreach support
- Fundraisers
- Other volunteer roles

Eligibility:

Volunteers with ACSO member orchestra organizations

Nominations can be made for:

- Individual volunteers
- Volunteer committees
- Volunteer organizations (leagues, guilds, etc.)

Geographic Scope: California (ACSO network)

Award Selection:

Approach: Not a competition, but an opportunity for extraordinary volunteers to be recognized publicly

Strength of application in demonstrating extraordinary contributions
