MOMS Foundation Annual Match Program

Geographic Scope: Nebraska and Iowa (Omaha area)

Program Description: Each year the MOMS Foundation selects a single non-profit organization or program to receive this grant. The Metro Omaha Medical Society Foundation matches up to the first $5,000.00 in donations to the Match Program.

Focus Areas: Community programs and non-profit organizations. Recent recipients have included:

• NorthStar (2021) - Male student education and mentorship program
• Latino Center of the Midlands (2022) - Home-based gardening and nutrition education (Siembra Salud program)
• Merrymakers (2023) - Senior enrichment through live musical performances

Award Structure: The Foundation matches donations up to $5,000, meaning donors contribute funds and the Foundation matches those contributions up to this cap.

3. Donation Submission: Donors make contributions to the selected organization through the MOMS Foundation donation form
4. Foundation Match: The Foundation matches donations dollar-for-dollar up to $5,000
5. Presentation: Matched funds are formally presented to the recipient organization at the MOMS Annual Meeting
