MOCPA Educational Foundation Scholarships

Overview: The MOCPA Educational Foundation awards up to $50,000 in scholarships annually to students majoring in accounting at Missouri universities and colleges.

Geographic Scope: Missouri

Award Amounts:

  • High school seniors: $500 toward accounting education

  • College students: $1,000 per recipient
  • Eligibility Requirements:

  • Must be a MOCPA college or high school student member (free membership available online)

  • Missouri resident and U.S. citizen OR child of a MOCPA member

  • Enrolled in a community college or university in Missouri (high school seniors must be enrolled upon graduation)

  • Declared as an accounting major
  • Selection Criteria:
    Winners are selected based on evaluation of:

  • Personal and academic experiences

  • Potential of becoming a CPA
  • Special Notes:

  • Past scholarship recipients are eligible to reapply but must submit a new application

  • The scholarship program is entirely funded through member donations; 100% of donations go directly to scholarships

  • $1 million Legacy Endowment Scholarship Fund has been established and is still growing
