Overview: A pilot project (Years 1-3: 2023-2026) that allows donors to direct a portion of their Community Campaign gift toward specific community-identified priorities. Utilizing national best practices in grantmaking.

Geographic Scope: Minneapolis/Minnesota Jewish community

Total Investment: Goal to raise $860,000 over 3 years, matched by Federation funds for total community investment of $1.7 million. In Year 1 (2023 Community Campaign), $480,127 was invested.

• Investing in Jewish communal professionals
• Stabilize and increase camp scholarships
• Increase Jewish camp participation
• Young adults conference

Israel & Overseas

• Investing in signature program – JDC Horizons
• Building local engagement for global need

Eligibility:

Any donor to the Community Campaign

Minimum $100 gift per priority

Can direct up to 10% of overall Community Campaign gift toward IFF priorities

Can contribute to multiple priorities (each with minimum $100)

Status: Year 2 of 3-year pilot (2024-2026)
