Overview

Background Mission Possible is a free service of the Community Foundation.  This program underwrites strategic consulting within small to medium sized nonprofits and/or CFES agency endowment partners. These benefits are supported byexternal grantmakers and are offered at no cost to qualifying organizations.  There will be a cap on the value of benefits available per nonprofit that qualifies for this assistance. Benefits Available Professional expert consultants to identify and help develop strategic improvements in the following areas of nonprofit operation:Accounting and FinanceStrategic/Long Term PlanningGovernance and AdministrationHuman Resources & ManagementDevelopment and FundraisingInformation TechnologyMarketing & CommunicationProgram Evaluation and OutcomesDiversity, Equity, and InclusionFormal executive coaching to help with leadership and decision-making strategiesProfessional membership underwriting.Educational workbooks/books to support the focus on specific needs of each client.Grant Research provided by an expert technical writer and grant consultant.Virtual training/webinars on requested current nonprofit trends or challenges.

Eligibility

You can learn more about this opportunity by visiting the funder's website. To be eligible for this program, an organization must generally meet six fundamental criteria:it must be a registered local non-profit, tax exempt “public charity,” as defined in Section 501(c)3 of the Internal Revenue Code; andit must be a registered non-stock corporation in good standing with the State of Maryland; andit must be a registered charity with the Maryland Secretary of State’s office. it must have an annual budget of less than $400,000 (organizations that hold endowments at CFES are qualified, regardless of size); andit must be physically located in one of the lower three counties of Maryland’s Eastern Shore: Worcester, Wicomico, or Somerset, andmust be providing regular direct programs and services to local residents.

Ineligibility

Hospitals and University Foundations are excluded from this assistance program, unless they are an endowment partner of CFES
