Program Overview:
A recognition program for minority-owned businesses in Arlington that have demonstrated the core values of the 4-Way Test through integrous leadership in business practices, community service and engagement.
- Location: Any minority-owned business located in Arlington
- Ownership: Minority businesses must be at least 51% minority-owned, operated, and controlled
- Definition of Minority Group Member: An individual who is at least 25% Asian, Black, Hispanic, or Native American (as defined by NMSDC)
- Women-Owned Businesses: Eligible
- Business History: Nominated businesses should have at least one year in business in Arlington
Eligibility Requirements
- Any member of the Rotary Club of Arlington
- Rotarians from other clubs may suggest businesses, but official nomination must be made by a Rotary Club of Arlington member
Who Can Nominate
- Business owner invited to a regularly scheduled club meeting
- Lunch provided by nominating member
- Brief presentation of the business's value to the community shared with the club
- Certificate of recognition presented to business owner
- Picture with club president and write-up about the business published in the Hubcap
