Program Purpose: The mini-grant program was established to incentivize new and expand existing volunteer efforts within the parks and recreation system.

    Geographic Scope

  • Lincoln, Nebraska
  • Projects must be on public land within parks, trails, and public spaces

    Eligibility

    Eligible Applicants:
  • Neighborhood associations
  • Businesses
  • Civic groups
  • Youth groups
  • Running clubs
  • Any other group or individual

    Project Eligibility

    Eligible Projects:
  • Projects identified by grant applicants, the Lincoln Parks Foundation, or the Lincoln Parks & Recreation Department
  • Must enhance the usage of existing parks, trails, and public spaces
  • Infrastructure improvements to parks and recreation areas
  • Projects on public land only

What They Don't Fund:

  • Projects on private land are not eligible
