Microgrants

Funder: Israel on Campus Coalition (ICC)

Geographic Scope: American college campuses (US)

Purpose: Provide funding for initiatives that support Israel on American college campuses

Eligibility:

  • Students

  • Campus professionals

  • Special consideration given to initiatives involving multiple pro-Israel stakeholders
  • Requirements

    To receive microgrant funding, applicants must:

  • Host an event on an American campus

  • Submit a brief final report describing outcomes and achievements within 48 hours of initiative completion

  • Submit documentation including quality photos, videos, and earned media coverage or op-eds
  • Initiative Requirements

    The initiative should:

  • Educate about Israeli culture, society, politics, technological advancements, or other facets of life in Israel

  • Engage diverse students and student groups from the college or university

  • Promote positive relationships, open-minded dialogue, and academic enrichment
  • The initiative should NOT:

  • Deny the right of Israel to exist as a Jewish and democratic state with secure and recognized borders

  • Delegitimize, demonize, or apply a double standard to Israel

  • Support boycott of, divestment from, or sanctions against the State of Israel

  • Exhibit a pattern of disruptive behavior towards campus events or guest speakers or foster an atmosphere of incivility

  • Discriminate on the basis of race, ethnicity, religion, national origin, gender, gender expression, or sexual orientation

    Application Process

    2. Provide contact information (name, email, phone)
    3. Specify affiliation details:
    - Campus and organization name
    - Status (Student, Geller Senior Fellow, Pro-Israel Professional, Faculty Member)
    - Expected graduation year (if applicable)
    4. Describe your initiative:
    - Initiative Title: Required
    - Date of Event: Required
    - Amount Requested: Required (in USD)
    - 4-6 Sentence Summary: Describe purpose, key components, and intended outcomes
    - Location and Security: Explain where event will be held and what security measures will be in place
    - Cosponsors: List any organizational cosponsors or other student organizations involved
    5. Select initiative focus areas (select all that apply):
    - Building diverse coalitions
    - Celebrating cultural identity and heritage
    - Promoting civic engagement
    - Providing advocacy and leadership training
    - Strengthening the U.S.–Israel relationship
    - Other (with brief description)
    6. Provide payment information (recipient name/organization, address)
    7. Review and accept terms and conditions
    8. Submit via online form with reCAPTCHA verification

    Post-Award Requirements

    • Submit ICC Microgrant Report Form within 48 hours of initiative completion
    • Respond to all ICC staff communications in a timely manner
