Mia's Blessings - Financial Assistance Program

Mia's Blessings provides critical financial support to families in the U.S. and Colombia affected by serious pediatric medical diagnoses.

Geographic Scope: United States and Colombia

Focus Areas: Financial assistance for essentials not covered by insurance, including:

• Rent
• Gas
• Utilities
• Taxis
• Groceries
• Flights

Eligibility:

• USA: Families being treated at partner medical facilities (Wolfson Children's Hospital, Palm Beach Children's Hospital, Nicklaus Children's Hospital, Holtz Children's Hospital, St. Jude, or Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center). Applications must be submitted through a social worker at the treatment facility.
• Colombia: Personal applications accepted from families being treated at Colombian medical facilities.

Application Process

For USA Applicants:

1. Contact your social worker at one of the partner medical facilities
2. Have your social worker submit the application on your behalf
3. Applications accepted from patients at: WCH, PBCH, NCH, Holtz, St. Jude, and Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center

For Colombia Applicants:

1. Personal applications accepted directly from families
2. Must be receiving treatment at a Colombian medical facility
3. Apply through the application portal (see application_url)
