The Minnesota Herpetological Society (MHS) is a non-profit, tax-exempt organization open to anyone with an interest in amphibians and reptiles. The purpose of the MHS is to: Further the education of the membership and the general public in the care and captive propagation of reptiles and amphibians.Educate the members and the general public on the ecological role of reptiles and amphibians.Promote the study and conservation of reptiles and amphibians. The Minnesota Herpetological Society (MHS) has consistently supported individuals, groups, and projects through grants. Each request is carefully reviewed by the Board of Directors and is judged for fit with the Society’s mission and goals as well as alignment with the MHS budget. Grants are given for supplies, technical support, matching funds (for a portion of a larger project), and other uses. Grants are competitive, and the amount will vary by project.Eligibility
