Who Can Apply:Current High School Senior furthering their education Application Criteria:Must be a graduating high school senior in Texas Must be a Texas resident and U.S. citizen Studied and demonstrated a strong background in science Have performed community service Have demonstrated excellent moral character and are a member of the Judeo-Christian faith Attend a college in the U.S. Will study a career in the healthcare field Be unable to attend college without financial assistance Renewable Criteria:Cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale Full-time enrollment Major in physics, math, astronomy, medical research, chemistry, biochemistry (and other scientific and/or technical fields), linguistics, music, or agricultural research Continuous enrollment in any accredited U.S. college, university, or technical/vocational school
