MFOL Academic Scholarships for Graduate Library Science
Funder: Maui Friends of the Library (MFOL)
Geographic Scope: Maui County residents (including Lāna'i and Moloka'i)
Award Amount: $3,000 per semester
Program Background: MFOL has been awarding graduate level MLIS scholarships since 2009. More than a dozen recipients are currently serving in library positions in Maui.
- Maui County residents
- Pursuing a Master's or graduate advanced degree in Library and Information Science
- Enrolled at University of Hawai'i Mānoa campus OR through UH University Center at UH Maui College campus
- Must be newly or currently enrolled in the Graduate School of Library and Information Science at University of Hawaii
Eligibility
- Enrollment and tuition
- Textbooks and materials
- Transportation including air transportation to UH Manoa for on-site classes
