Our Mission The Medfield Foundation (MFi) is a 100% volunteer run 501(c)(3) non-profit charitable corporation whose mission is to enrich the lives of Medfield residents, build a stronger community, and facilitate the raising and allocation of private funds for public needs in the town of Medfield. How is MFi Building Community? Organizing and running MFi Signature Initiatives, such as the Legacy Fund Endowment, Angel Run, Community Assistance Fund, Camp Fund, Community Conversations, and Youth Leadership Program.Helping local non-profits, known as Community Initiatives, organize, raise funds and work in Medfield without having to become registered charities.Accepting and managing donations for all MFi Initiatives, including reporting to the IRS and complying with all regulations for 501(c)(3) entities.Promoting community connections for Medfield through our website, events, social media, and other communications. MFi Legacy Fund Grant To apply for a MFi Legacy Fund grant, you must submit an application to participate in our Pitch It! grant process. The application will be available on our website when the annual Pitch It dates are announced. Pitch It! is an opportunity for MFi to nurture projects that enrich the lives of the residents of Medfield. The Pitch It! grant process consists of submitting a grant application which will be available on our website when the annual Pitch It is announced. The MFi Legacy Fund Committee will review each application. Successful applicants will be invited to participate in a Pitch It! style presentation evening in front of the MFi Legacy Fund Committee and selected guests.
