meTriG Study

meTriG Study: App-Based Compensated Research Opportunity

The meTriG Study is an app-based, completely remote research opportunity for individuals managing high triglycerides. Participants track their everyday health observations to help researchers understand the day-to-day experience of living with high triglycerides.

Focus Area: Severe high triglycerides (sHTG) and related chronic conditions including pancreatitis

Geographic Scope: United States residents only

Compensation: Up to $360 in gift cards for 6-month participation

Eligibility Requirements

• 18+ years old
• Current US resident
• Managing triglycerides of at least 500 mg/dL (as shown in a lipid panel blood test taken within the past 6 months)
• Not currently pregnant or planning to become pregnant
• Not diagnosed with Familial Chylomicronemia Syndrome (FCS)

Study Activities

Duration: 6 months

Participation Requirements:

• Track health observations at least once per week (takes a few minutes per tracking day)
• Complete monthly survey at month-end (15-20 minutes)
• More frequent tracking encouraged as health observations occur
