NOTE: Medline’s review process can take 4-6 weeks. Please submit all requests at least 45 days prior to study start date. Investigator-Initiated Studies Program The Investigator-Initiated Studies (IIS) Program provides support for research that advances scientific and medical knowledge related to Medline products and fosters innovative approaches to medical care. Support may include direct funding to cover all or part of the study costs, provision of products, and input on study design. Once approved by the Scientific Review Committee, an agreement must be executed to receive funds or products. This agreement includes details of milestones and expectations for publishing study results. Advanced Wound Care: Research investigating use of products for prevention of wounds, pressure injuries, moisture associated skin damage, skin tears, surgical site infections, and incontinence associated dermatitis as well as patient comfort associated with product use. Foot and Ankle/Orthopedic: Research investigating novel techniques, uses, and indications for foot and ankle products.
