Overview
The McGraw Fellowships provide experienced journalists with grant funding and editorial support to produce deeply-reported investigative or enterprise stories on critical economic, financial, or business issues. The program welcomes stories that "Follow the Money" in various sectors including healthcare, the environment, economic justice, and corporate accountability.- Experience Required: At least 5 years of professional journalism experience
- Media Type: Both freelance and staff journalists in all forms of media are eligible
- Diversity: Journalists from diverse backgrounds are strongly encouraged to apply
- Beat Background: Not required to be a business reporter; generalists and reporters covering various beats (health care, environment, etc.) have successfully applied

The Harold W. McGraw, Jr. Center for Business Journalism was established at the Newmark Graduate School of Journalism at CUNY in January 2014 with the goal of enhancing the quality and depth of business and economic news coverage. In addition to providing funding and editorial support for veteran journalists, the Center offers training and scholarships for young reporters entering the field.How to Apply
