McGraw Fellowships: Enterprise Reporting Grants

Funder: Harold W. McGraw, Jr. Center for Business Journalism at CUNY's Craig Newmark Graduate School of Journalism

The McGraw Fellowships provide experienced journalists with grant funding and editorial support to produce deeply-reported investigative or enterprise stories on critical economic, financial, or business issues. The program welcomes stories that "Follow the Money" in various sectors including healthcare, the environment, economic justice, and corporate accountability.

Eligibility

• Experience Required: At least 5 years of professional journalism experience
• Media Type: Both freelance and staff journalists in all forms of media are eligible
• Diversity: Journalists from diverse backgrounds are strongly encouraged to apply
• Beat Background: Not required to be a business reporter; generalists and reporters covering various beats (health care, environment, etc.) have successfully applied
