Maryland Soybean Board Green Events Program

The Maryland Soybean Board's Green Events Program provides grants to agricultural fairs and expos through a competitive process to promote soy-based products and soybean industry at public events.

• Example: Grant provided soy-based synthetic lawn (Syntipede 354) for Baltimore County Center for Maryland Agriculture and Farm Park Exhibit Barn (2016)
• Soybean oil used in products displaces petroleum-based materials (e.g., 60% of petroleum-based polyurethane in SYNLawn backing)
