Overview
Maryland Lottery and Gaming Voluntary Exclusion Program (VEP)
Maryland Lottery and Gaming offers a Voluntary Exclusion Program (VEP), which allows individuals to exclude themselves from gambling activities that Maryland Lottery and Gaming operates or regulates, including Lottery games, the state's casinos, sports wagering, online fantasy competitions (daily fantasy sports), or the electronic instant bingo halls in Anne Arundel and Calvert counties. Voluntary exclusion is a self-help tool, but it is not intended to be a substitute for assessment and treatment by a problem gambling counselor. Counseling services are available at no cost to Maryland residents by calling 1-800-GAMBLER. A detailed explanation of the VEP and links to additional resources to assist problem gamblers are available at mdgamblinghelp.org.
