Muskingum County Community Foundation Mission & Vision The Mission of the Muskingum County Community Foundation is to improve quality of life in the community by nurturing opportunities and serving needs through collaboration and philanthropy. The Envisioned Future of the Muskingum County Community Foundation is that Muskingum County’s quality of life attracts organizations and people to pursue their dreams and practice their passions. Since its founding, MCCF has awarded more than $8 million to local charities and currently has over $22 million in assets. Martin Luther King, Jr. Book Scholarship The Martin Luther King Jr. Scholarship Fund at the Muskingum County Community Foundation hopes to encourage graduating minority seniors from Muskingum County to pursue higher education at a 2 or 4-year college or university. Multiple book scholarships will be awarded. Eligibility

You can learn more about this opportunity by visiting the funder's website. Applicant must be a minority student. Applicant must be on track to be a high school graduate for the current year. Applicant must be on an advanced track (College Prep, Honors, or Advanced Placement) in all four core academic subjects. Applicant must receive an 18 or higher composite ACT score or SAT equivalent. Applicant must have applied to a 2 or 4-year college or university. Applicant must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better (on a 4.0 scale). Applicant must have passed all parts of Ohio's State Test. Applicant must attach an official high school transcript to the submitted application that shows ACT scores and cumulative GPA.
