Established in 2013, the Marchi Mini Grant program celebrates the life and legacy of Lisa Marchi—a beloved Mapleton educator. This grant fuels creativity and innovation by turning teachers' ideas into experiences that spark curiosity and confidence in students.

  • How to Apply

    How to Apply for Marchi Mini Grant

    Step 1: Post your project through the DonorsChoose platform for innovative, standards-based, student-focused activities.

    Step 2: If your project is not compatible with DonorsChoose, submit an online application to the Mapleton Education Foundation by September 26, 2025.

    Step 3: All eligible projects are reviewed by the Teaching and Learning Department using the Marchi Mini Grant rubric.

    Step 4: The Mapleton Education Foundation Board of Directors selects and announces grant recipients by the end of October.
