Geographic Scope: Multi-county region including Rush County; program based in Richmond, IN and partnering communities (Connersville, Laurel, Richmond, Centerville, Lynn, and surrounding areas)

Overview:
Manufacturing Matters is a fast-track training program providing good job preparation for manufacturing careers. It is a collaborative effort involving Ivy Tech Community College Richmond's Corporate College and WorkOne.

Focus Areas:

  • Nationally recognized certification (Certified Production Technician)
  • Scholarship Details:

  • Award: Full scholarship worth $2,600

  • Covers tuition and training costs

  • Program leads to Certified Production Technician (CPT) certification

  • Manufacturing production

  • Maintenance awareness

  • Employability skills

  • Orientation to manufacturing industry

  • Must complete WorkKeys testing
