Gene Haas Foundation's primary goal is to build skills in the manufacturing industry by providing resources for CNC machine technology students. Scholarships Scholarship funds from the Gene Haas Foundation should be used to create scholarships specifically named the “Gene Haas CNC Scholarship.” We recognize that many students lack the means to acquire tools they will need for classes. Accordingly, scholarship funds can be used as a “Gene Haas Tooling Award” for tools and safety gear that students will need for classes. Schools receiving grants are authorized to purchase such materials, label them as a gift from the Gene Haas Foundation, and present them to students, who may retain the materials permanently after graduation.
