We proudly sponsor individual teams, fostering innovation and skill development. We collaborate with schools and training centers that specialize in Manufacturing Career Pathways. By awarding scholarship grants, we help institutions provide crucial financial support to students, ensuring the next generation of skilled professionals has the resources to succeed. Post Secondary Scholarship Programs ( For Schools Training In Cnc Technology Trade School | Community College | University) This category includes community colleges, trade schools, technical colleges, and universities. Gene Haas Foundation's primary goal is to build skills in the manufacturing industry by providing resources for CNC machine technology students. Scholarships Scholarship funds from the Gene Haas Foundation should be used to create scholarships specifically named the “Gene Haas CNC Scholarship.” We recognize that many students lack the means to acquire tools they will need for classes. Accordingly, scholarship funds can be used as a “Gene Haas Tooling Award” for tools and safety gear that students will need for classes. Schools receiving grants are authorized to purchase such materials, label them as a gift from the Gene Haas Foundation, and present them to students, who may retain the materials permanently after graduation. Up to $200 can be used for Stickers from the "Scholarship Eligible Category" on the Gene Haas Pro Shop to add to and label your scholarship certificates and tooling awards.

Eligibility

You can learn more about this opportunity by visiting the funder's website. Only public schools and private schools/programs with nonprofit status under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code or their 501(c)(3) supporting foundation may apply. Applicants may apply once annually, programs with both Secondary and Post-Secondary students should apply here.Universities are eligible for scholarship grant funding if they have hands on CNC Training Classes, including boot camps.

Ineligibility

Gene Haas Foundation does not grant funds to individuals or third-party organizations to distribute scholarships.Gene Haas Foundation Funds CANNOT be used for any product or service manufactured or distributed by Haas Automation or its HFO Dealer Network. This is according to IRS tax law and must be stringently followed.
