Geographic Scope: Northeast Indiana
Mission: The Mad Anthonys Foundation is dedicated to enriching the lives of youth in Northeast Indiana through the power of sports and physical activity. The grant-giving mission is to empower youth by promoting, supporting, and providing access to athletic and active programs that nurture their physical, mental, and emotional well-being.
Funding Priorities
Successful grant applications will demonstrate strong alignment with the foundation's mission and values. While the primary focus is on organizations using athletics and physical activities as a vehicle for impact, applications from non-profits providing other critical services that enhance the well-being of youth in Northeast Indiana are also welcomed.

Grant Categories

3. Infrastructure and Facility Enhancement: Support for projects that improve or build athletic facilities, playgrounds, and sports fields in underserved neighborhoods

Eligibility Requirements
- Must be a current 501(c)(3) not-for-profit with tax-exempt status under the IRS Code
- Must be located in Northeast Indiana
- Must demonstrate benefit to community, effective performance, meaningful outcomes, and financial responsibility and accountability
- Only one check per request in a 12-month period
Important Notes
- Submissions are required a minimum of 60 days prior to the deadline
- Submissions may be accepted on a year-round basis for limited contingency funds
- For requests received at other times during the year, allow 4-6 weeks for review and notification
- Multi-year requests are considered for approval
- For approved requests, a follow-up report must be submitted within 60 days of the program/service detailing who was impacted, how they were impacted, and how funds were used

- Annual spending summary by mission or programming categories, complete project budget, or IRS 990 form for prior year (if applicable)
