Loan Repayment Assistance Program (LRAP)

Overview: LSC makes a limited number of forgivable loans to attorneys employed by LSC grantees to assist with law school debt repayment.

Purpose:

  • Help attorneys repay law school debt

  • Help grantees recruit and retain highly qualified attorneys

  • Promote the development of initiatives that make public interest law a viable career path for law school graduates

  • Support the Herbert S. Garten Loan Repayment Assistance Program
