Lilly Endowment Community Scholarship

Geographic Scope: Putnam County, Indiana; students may attend any accredited Indiana college or university

Program Description: This prestigious scholarship provides full-tuition support, including a $900 book stipend per year, for four years to any accredited Indiana college or university.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Unweighted GPA of 3.8 or higher required

  • High school students from Putnam County
  • Selection Criteria:

  • Scholastic abilities and intellectual pursuits

  • Capacity to lead and motivate fellow students

  • Social commitment and extracurricular involvement

  • Ability to articulate career plans that demonstrate motivation and initiative
  • Program Background: Statewide program administered by local community foundations throughout Indiana. Independent Colleges of Indiana (ICI) provides statewide oversight. Since its introduction in 1998, Lilly Endowment has remained committed to the belief that education at all levels is indispensable to the personal, civic, and economic well-being of Indiana residents and communities.
