Lillis Foundation Grant

The Lillis Foundation Grant supports early-stage projects focusing on educational access, assistance for disadvantaged children, and enhancing seniors' quality of life. Grants are available for tax-exempt organizations under 501(c)(3) classifications. However, the foundation does not fund ongoing operational costs, endowments, or religious activities. Their goal is to create impactful programs that improve lives and alleviate loneliness among seniors, thereby fostering a supportive community for all.

Overview
The Lillis Foundation is interested in projects — often in the early stages of development — with a realistic, achievable funding plan and a compelling impact.
Our grants are focused in three areas: access to educational opportunities, support for disadvantaged young children, and enhancement of the quality of life for our senior population.
Most of our funding in this area occurs through our scholarship programs and our Student Assistance Fund program, although occasionally grants are made outside of these programs.Support for disadvantaged young children often overlaps with our educational focus by providing funds to schools and other programs that seek to improve the quality of life for these children.Our third area of funding is directed to our senior population, with grants that support both basic needs and quality of life. Of particular interest are programs that combat the loneliness and isolation that is so much a part of life for many members of this population.

Eligibility

Only organizations that are tax-exempt under Section 501 (c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code and/or classified as a public charity under IRC Section 509 (a)(1),(2) or (3) are eligible for grants.

Ineligibility

Generally we will not consider funding requests for:
